  • Cons

Renault KWID

  • Funky and muscular styling is attractive. Long features list makes it a great VFM proposition. Compact dimensions and light controls make it easy to drive in the city.

Tata Punch

  • The Punch pulls off muscular SUV-like looks
  • high ground clearance along with an easy to drive hatchback -like experience. Impressive cabin quality
  • clever customization options make it even more appealing. It is a sensible package that focuses on useful equipment like auto headlamps and wipers
  • electric folding wing mirrors
  • cruise control and connected car tech highlight a sensible features list. 5-star Global NCAP safety rating.

Renault KWID

  • Engines lack punch especially out on the highway. AMT is sluggish

Tata Punch

  • No diesel engine option. The 1.2L engine
  • although good for commuting
  • lacks the power for ease of use on highway or when fully loaded. 16.5 seconds for 0-100kmph (claimed) isn't inspiring.

Q. Confused between KWID RXT Easy R AMT and Magnite XL manual. Please suggest which to buy?
  • Selecting between the Renault KWID and Nissan Magnite would depend on certain factors such as your preference of the segment, usage of the car, features required, maintenance costs, etc. Renault KWID would be a good option if you are looking for a compact hatchback with long list of features, ease of driving, light controls and a value for money product. On the other hand, the Magnite is spacious, practical, well loaded and considering its aggressive pricing, will be a strong alternative to the low-mid range variants of its popular competitors. However, if you are eyeing for this sub-4 meter SUV then we would suggest you to stretch your budget a bit and go for the higher variants. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test drive for a better understanding of performance and comfort. Q. Is Renault Kwid 2020 best in class? 1.0 or 800cc which one is best?
  • Renault KWID offers a funky and muscular design which distinguishes it from its rivals. Moreover, the KWID offers a long list of features, comfortable driving traits, good road visibility, easy city driving and compact dimensions makes it a value for money offering. If you want a more powerful iteration of the KWID, then we would suggest you to opt for the 1.0-litre engine that makes 68PS of power and is available with a 5-speed manual and an AMT. For a better understanding of compatibility and riding comfort, we would suggest you to take a test ride. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership.
  • I am using kwid 800cc rxt optional till date. Oil indicator metre shows some faulty..Otherwise I think Kwid 800cc is better than 1000 in terms of mileage only
  • What are you saying bro. How could you get more mileage than 1.0 ltr engine for 800cc engineBoth engines power is different.
Q. I drive nearly 1500 km on village roads in a month,I am confused between kwid , Celerio, S presso and alto please suggest me
  • Myself vishvajeet Mande from latur. I am going to complete forth year of ownership of renault kwid 1000 cc., this 1 January. No doubt Maruti Suzuki brand has a lot of options for four wheelers under 10 lakh price tag, but the French carmaker has done the wonderful solution to typical Indian conditions.Within 5/6lakhs range no other car can compete overall economic and comfort to kwid. Still my car gives me average of 25 kmpl on highway. And in city around 15/16 kmpl. Depending upon traffic and road conditions. But it's very satisfying. Components and spares are also readily available whole servicing. Best feature is ground clearance in rural areas. Also though car looks small, space and comfort in seating inside is very good. I travel frequently for 8 hours tour. But no back pain or other discomfort during travel. If you want stylish, comfortable and something different, better go for kwid.
  • Among the aforementioned options, we'd suggest you to either opt for Renault KWID or Maruti S-Presso for their ease of driving and higher ground clearance for tackling the rural roads. The KWID features an funky and muscular design that looks attractive and the long list of features makes it a great value for money proposition. On the other hand, the S-Presso would be a better options if you are looking for a car that is backed by a strong service network, offers spacious interiors, lick shifting gearbox and tractable BS6 compliant engine. We just wish that S-Presso was better equipped and better priced. For a better understanding of compatibility and driving comfort, we would suggest you to take a test drive.
