Q. I am confused which one to buy Amaze or VW Ameo?
  • New Amaze really makes a point worthy at the outset now . Ameo definitely a good vehicle from VW with segment best features about a 1.5 year ago. . The vehicle did not click much due to lack of penetration of service network and post service /spares . Ignore it a bit is a very good vehicle .Now comes to Gen2 Amaze is much refined with interior and exterior .And Totally engineered new . Infotainment system of Digipad2 and many segment best features are a best bet with Amaze . Honda quality and Promise are best in Cars .New Amaze Best in compact sedan segment
  • Well vw and honda both are good more power at vw but understand that honda has better chance at service level across than vw . again you can take a call as GM motors have closed there shops which many 11 other manufacturers such GM, VW, SKODA and so on share the same manufacturers engine.
  • I would say Amaze would be better if your choice is petrol and if you want a silent car then Ameo on the other hand is a noisy diesel best car. I have owned the petrol brio and ameo diesel is so far good. Amaze is more comfy and smooth.. Ameo is a performance beast but less comfort and too noisy..

  • Ameo is touch of class vehicle when launched . VW Ameo haa many segment good features the then launched . Only little not a plus factor is service network is a bit as wide as Honda . The 2 nd Gen Honda Amaze now makes a full steam competitor with Best features ,Best in style and Honda promise . Currently Amaze can be rated as a segment best vehicle
  • I personally think honda amaze is better in terms of comfort looks and technology i think you should go for vx model

Q. Which is better, honda amaze or swift dzire?
  • Both has it's own merits .Dezire comes in petrol diesel and cng ad tour for taxis.It's a value for money package in a swift dezire when petrol variant is a no issue car driving thrill is for the turbo diesel.Amaze on th other hand with the gemi vtec petrolgives you great performance.Diesel is also good.so to summarise for petrol go for amaze diesel dezire .For that posh feel of ownership Amaze scores.Thanks.
  • New amaze is slightly better than swift but a bit expensive than swift as well, I personally believe amaze looks better than swift, amaze's interior looks little funky than dzires interior but that's upto individuals to decide which design they like I can't say which one is better because amaze excels alot in terms of performance and has good handling as well, swift dzire is decent in terms of performance and handling I would like say one thing that swift dzire has upper hand in performance compared to amaze is amaze has skinny tires which in return gives good ride quality and steering response but lacks grip in heavy corner when, dzire has better tires and has a little bit more grip than amaze
  • I have Celerio 2014 vxi variant. After three years it has very annoying body sound as if it had problem with suspension at rear wheels. Vibration in lower gear and while reversing. Driven only 24840. Not happy with build-up n paint quality. I want to exchange it with either Amaze or Dzire but again confused as Dzire has more mikeage (2.4 more per kilo meter) while Amaze has better build-up, design, premier looks and better after sales service. Suzuki has more service centers but more vehicles and always crowded. Again in Amaze you get four power windows and the required features in the base variant ehereas on Dzire you get those in vix only which cost some 80000+ more

    Driving experience is the important factor in my concern.Obviously, I'm very much satisfied with this machine.The control over the turns, Less body roll, Engine refinement, Stability etc.Are quite impressive.I'm using the base model of this vehicle.The base model itself the company provides the tilt and reach adjustable steering wheel, Body colored with side view mirror, Body colored bumper.Vehicle is stable at high speeds.I'm getting an average of 18.3 kmpl of mileage in city driving and 22.5 kmpl in long range use.And a tyre mileage of 20000km.The fuel tank is about 55 litres so long distance coverage is compromised.Safety is the most important thing in vw cars.From base model itself the car provides two airbags, Abs and ebd are standard.High quality metals are used for body building.Pros:.Good driving comfort.Good mileage.Good build quality.Low maintenancecons:.Service cost is high.

    I drive a 2018 Volkswagen 

    I drive a 2018 volkswagen ameo highline dct tdi.This is truly the most underrated compact sedan ever in india.So less people bought it because it was quite expensive for the top end model with dct in 2018 at rs.12.30 lakhs.And people in india were happier buying so called “big cars” from indian manufacturers at this price range.The car runs on diesel, Churns out 110 bhp and 250 nm of torque.It weighs 1500 kgs.The 4 cylinder engineer paired with turbo and dct(german dsg) is a super powerful mean machine.I have reached top speeds of 200 kmph in this car.It’s accelerates like a jet engine.Reaches 0-100 kmph in less than 9 seconds.There’s not a single car i have not overtook on bangalore-mangalore highway on this car.It’s a shame the diesel car was discontinued by volkswagen.It’s 5 year old now and still my most prized possession! love you volkswagen ameo(amigo!) 🙂.
