Changes on the outside will possibly include revised bumpers, LED headlights, and new alloy wheel design.
Cabin will likely feature updated upholstery and additional features.
Expected to continue with its 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine options.
Will rival the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Hyundai Aura, Ford Aspire, and Tata Tigor.
Mark your calendar; Honda is all set to give the second-generation Amaze a midlife update in August 2021. While details are scarce, the compact sedan could get subtle design-related tweaks, changes inside the cabin, and additional features.

For styling updates, we can expect subtle revisions to the front and rear bumpers and the addition of LED headlamps (or projector headlamp units at the very least). It could also get a new alloy wheel design.

However, the compact sedan is unlikely to get a sunroof, contrary to reports going around. However, it might get new fabric upholstery among other additional kit. It should retain features like a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, keyless entry with push-button start/stop, voice commands, steering-mounted controls, and height-adjustable driver’s seat.

Under the hood, the Amaze is likely to soldier on with its current engine lineup. It is powered by a 90PS/110Nm 1.2-litre petrol engine or a 100PS/200Nm 1.5-litre diesel engine (80PS/160Nm in diesel-CVT). Both engines are paired to either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a CVT automatic transmission.

Expect the facelifted Amaze to be priced at a premium over the current model that retails from Rs 6.22 lakh to Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It will take on the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Hyundai Aura, Ford Aspire and Tata Tigor.
