Q. Which bike among Bajaj V15 and Unicorn is better?
  • Hey there, both are good bikes in the 125- 150 cc segment. They both are great commuter bikes with decent average, however the Honda unicorn leads in average. Bajaj V15 has a slightly better pick-up and of course a good attractive look and feel to ride especially with a bulkier tank. The fuel capacity is also larger than on unicorn. The build quality of Honda seems to be better as evidently its a Japanese company. Overall if you want to go for a bike with decent mileage, looks great exhaust note and better fell of riding then go for Bajaj V15. If you only want a bike with good mileage, light-weight and hard built, go for unicorn.
  • Look, some people are biased on some brand positively or negatively. So, they would just say GOOD or BAD to all variants from the company of their bias. Ignoring that, I would say both bikes are equally good; though I would give V15 a small advantage due to its retro cafe racer looks which I find very appealing. I for one chose the V15 over Unicorn and after 2 years, I am happy with my decision because I don't take too much care of my bikes and yet this has not given me any trouble yet. Cost of spares and maintenance is also low
  • Hey! Well, both bikes have their own feasibility. V15 has a good manoeuvrability and an excellent balance & stance. Its better in terms of performance with an appealing exhaust note. V15 also looks pretty attractive and has more road presence. However Honda CB Unicorn has a more refined engine with less noise and is very smooth. It also feels lighter and small but does not have a great road presence. I'd suggest you to take a test ride.

Q. I am doing marketing job, I am traveling per month around 4000 km. I need comfort and minimum 55 km mileage. I am ready to spend amount for buying the bike around 80k to 90k. Which bike is better for me
  • Go for Unicorn Honda as it is a performance bike. In all probability, due to negative sales, this model is likely to be discontinued.
  • Hey, as you told that you are traveling around 4000km per month, so you go with Honda unicorn due to it mono suspension
  • For your marketing job my suggestion is hero splendour, hero passion, hero glamour, bajaj ct 100, bajaj discover etc

Q. Which is better is unicorn 150 or unicorn 160 in fuel effiency
  • A little clearance regarding fuel efficiency between any bikes, lower CC bikes are more fuel efficient than higher CC bikes. So even with a difference of 10CC it will be different with small margin.
  • Yes I think unicorn 150cc which I use it's 1year old and more good in mileage then 160cc.
  • All Honda models in the 150 / 160 cc segment is good at fuel efficiency.

I have been using Bajaj v15

I have been using bajaj v15 for the past 6 years. The built quality and design is really good but the bike struggles with stability once it clocks 100kmph.The mileage with time has decreased and gives around 35kmpl.Hope bajaj comes up with an upgrade in near future.
