US-based Hennessey doesn’t need an introduction. But for the uninitiated, the company’s known for its insane modification jobs to make performance cars even faster and speed demons like the Venom F5. So how does this car tuning company outdo itself? By teasing Project Deep Space, a hyper-GT that’s not only all-electric but rides on six wheels!
The crazy doesn’t stop there; the electric powertrain will comprise an electric motor for each wheel. Sure, Hennessey hasn’t given us performance figures, but we can expect staggering numbers from this electric hypercar. Hennessey claims it’ll be the fastest-accelerating four-seater to go from 0 to 322kmph.
Project Deep Space is a three-row machine. The driver is at the front, and there are two seats in the second row. The third row will be a single, wide ‘VVIP’ seat for you to sit back and relax. It will have a full carbon-fibre body and chassis with high-quality materials for the cabin.
We’re stoked like never before, but sadly, there’s a lot of waiting. To see it in the flesh, you’ll have to sit patiently till at least 2026. And, of course, it’ll be as exclusive as a Hennessey can get; only 105 examples will ever be made, each costing USD 3 million (around Rs 22.46 crore)!
