Tata Motors is hard at work preparing the 2024 Tata Nexon SUV, which has been spotted on multiple occasions. It’s not a brand new generation update, but the SUV will be heavily revised, like how Maruti did with the Baleno. And each time the SUV has been spotted, a new detail has surfaced, which is the case this time as well.
The SUV’s design will be evolutionary with a brand new design for the front and rear-end, while maintaining the same silhouette. And the latest spy shots give us a look at its Audi-like sequential turn indicators. This will possibly make it the first model in its segment to get this trend, if no other manufacturer jumps the gun and introduces this in its model.

Other highlights include its Curvv-like front-end featuring sleek LED DRLs and split headlamps. At the rear, the SUV also gets connected LED tail lamps, which is a trending design touch. And on the inside, the SUV will get the carmaker’s new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, new 7-inch digital driver’s display and probably, ADAS features as well.

Underneath the hood, one can expect the Nexon to get the carmaker’s new 1.2-litre T-GDI turbo-petrol engine putting out 125 horses. Tata hinted this engine could get the DCT, so fingers crossed on that. But it will be joined alongside the carmaker’s 110PS 1.5-litre diesel engines and its existing electric powertrain options as well.

The updated Tata Nexon is expected to go on sale sometime in 2024. Expect it to command a premium over the current model that is priced from Rs 7.8 lakh (ex-showroom). It will continue to rival the Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Mahindra XUV300 and the Nissan Magnite.
