The 2018 Maruti Suzuki Ciaz has taken the C2 sedan segment by storm, becoming the highest-selling car in just two months of its launch. While the initial numbers could be linked to the hype surrounding a new product, the Ciaz has enough features, including an efficient mild-hybrid petrol motor, redesigned exterior and new equipment at a competitive price, to keep sales ticking. However, owners of the first batch of cars will have to head to the nearest Nexa service centre soon as the company has issued a service campaign for the Ciaz.

The speedometers of the new diesel Ciaz, limited to the premium Zeta and Alpha variants, need to be changed. Why? Maruti hasn’t specified yet. But it has stated that units manufactured 1 August, 2018 and 21 September, 2018 are part of this campaign and could include a percentage of the 7,002 units which were dispatched in August 2018. The service campaign also states that the owners’ manual of these units will be replaced, which could mean there will be something added or removed from the document. You can check if your Ciaz diesel is part of the service campaign at this link.

If you are a Maruti Suzuki Ciaz facelift owner and your car is part of the service campaign, do let us know the details. Your inputs could help other Ciaz owners too. Meanwhile, check out our first drive impressions of the Ciaz facelift here.
