The Pixo will be powered by a three cylinder 1.0-litre engine offering 68bhp and fuel economy of 64.2mpg. It will also have low CO2 emissions of 103g/km costing just £35 a year in road tax.
Although it will be Nissan's smallest model, the Pixo comes equipped with five doors and three trim levels; Visia, Acenta and Tekna. There will also be a choice of manual or automatic transmissions.
Prices for the Pixo will start from £5,995 for the entry level Visia, with Acenta models priced from £6,745 and Tekna versions priced from £7,645. The Pixo will go on sale from 1 June 2009.
