We’ve seen and driven the 2015 Volkswagen Vento facelift recently, and now the German car manufacturer is ready to launch the sedan later this month on June 23. The changes are mainly on the exterior design of the car, though it also gets new colour interior and the engines get tuned to improve fuel efficiency. The upgrades on the new Vento are quite subtle – which include a new bonnet; a larger grille with an extra chrome slat; new front bumper with chrome strips and redesigned air dam; and rectangular fog lamps. The 2015 Vento also gets integrated LED turn indicators on the ORVMs, cornering lights and a new set of alloy wheels. At the back, the 2015 version gets reprofiled taillight, chrome lining on the boot, all new bumper with some more chrome on it. Chrome highlight on the exhaust tip completes the external upgrade for the 2015 Volkswagen Vento facelift.
Inside, the top Highline trim gets new Walnut Desert beige dashboard, while the Trendline and Comfortline sport Cloud TitanSchwarz colour. The rest of the cabin design remains unchanged. The new Vento facelift will also get a few new features such as Cruise Control, electrically folding OVRMs and a cooled glove box. Like the older car it still comes with the 2-din audio system with USB, AUX and Bluetooth connectivity, driver and front passenger airbags, and ABS.

As before, the 2015 Volkswagen Vento facelift will be offered with a 105PS, 1.6-litre petrol engine and a 105PS, 1.5-litre diesel motor options. The company is said to have improved the new Vento’s fuel efficiency by 7.5 per cent, and is expected to return close to 21.5kmpl now. Volkswagen might increase the price of the new 2015 Vento facelift marginally by 1 or 2 per cent and is expected to cost between Rs 7.85 lakh to Rs 11.75 lakh, on par to its competitor like the Honda City, Maruti Ciaz and the Hyundai Verna.
