The Kia Seltos’ HT K Plus trim isn’t excessively stripped down and comes with a decent set of features

  • Seltos HT K Plus trim comes with projector headlamps and fog lamps.
  • It comes with 16-inch alloy wheels rather than the 17-inchers found on the top-spec HT X Plus variant.
  • Comes with features like manual AC, 8-inch infotainment unit, cruise control and more.
  • The Seltos HT K Plus can be had with 1.5-litre diesel and petrol engines.
  • The Seltos is slated to launch on August 22.

Kia India is all set to launch the Seltos on August 22 and the compact SUV has started reaching dealerships. While we got to see the top-spec version during our first drive review, we now have pictures of the more affordable mid-spec HT K Plus variant. This variant sits bang in the middle of the HT Line trim.

Outside, the Seltos HT K Plus looks similar to the top-spec HT X Plus trim, albeit with some key differences. For starters, you get DRLs in this variants but not the elongated ones as seen in the top-spec HT X Plus. The headlamps are projector units here and sit in the bottom section, as opposed to the LEDs in the top trim. Even the ‘icecube’ LED fog lamps have been replaced by a sole projector unit. At the side, the HT K Plus variant gets 5-spoke 16-inch alloy wheels finished in a gunmetal shade.

Inside, the Seltos HT K Plus comes with a smaller 8-inch infotainment system with physical buttons. In comparison, the top-spec variant comes with a 10.25-inch unit with touch controls. The climate control buttons and display have given way to manual knobs with piano black trim. The steering wheel is a regular round unit while the multi-info display is a smaller dot matrix unit.

Also, the leatherette upholstery and trim on the dashboard has been replaced by fabric and textured plastic trim respectively.
