Looking back at 2016, the vehicle that created a big impact in spite of its puny size is undoubtedly the Honda Navi. At the Auto Expo last year, Honda got everyone excited by showcasing a range of customised Navis and while the mini bike did already offer some customisation, things have just gotten a bit more interesting now. As if the Navi wasn't already a head turner, it can now be bought in two new variants that literally scream for attention: the Adventure Edition and Chrome Edition. You do need to shell out a premium (Rs 8,525 and Rs 5,065) though it isn't an eyebrow-raising sum.

Under the Adventure Edition, the Navi receives a list of additional goodies such as a big windscreen, handguards, headlamp protector, new side protectors and an under-tank storage box. The kit also includes an extended luggage tray which can be used to mount an external storage compartment. The Adventure Edition Navi comes with a funky new camouflage colour option along with a dual-tone coloured seat. Honda has opted for stock tyres instead of the knobby tyres as showcased at the Expo, in order to keep costs in check.

For the Chrome Edition, as the same suggests, the Navi has been given the bling treatment so as to attract more eyeballs on the road. The kit is comparatively cheaper than the Adventure edition mainly due to its simplicity. With this kit, Honda offers a chromed housing and protector around the headlamp, chrome leg guards and a chrome grab rail. It also gets the under-tank storage box as part of the kit.

The new versions of the Navi are available only in black. And if you are planning to book one, just place an order through the dedicated Android app for Navi. Existing owners need not fret either; they too can have their Navis upgraded with the new kits at the aforementioned prices. While the Chrome kit will be available by the end of January 2017, the Adventure kit will likely be available at dealerships a little later.

Launched during the 2016 Auto Expo in Delhi, the Honda Navi a mini-bike that is a cross between a motorcycle and a scooter. The Navi has the underpinnings of the popular Activa with the styling and stance of a small motorcycle. Its quirky design and practical design has made the Navi popular among youngsters as well as people of all age groups. The Navi is powered by the same 110cc motor that does duty on the Activa. The four-stroke single-cylinder motor develops 8PS of power and 8.9Nm of peak torque that is transmitted to the rear wheel via a CVT gearbox.
