BMW To Hike Prices In India From 2019

• BMW cars to cost 4 per cent more from 2019.
• The price increase is across the entire BMW India range.
• New prices to come into effect from January 1.

If you are planning to get a BMW car home, now might be the right time as the German luxury carmaker is all set to increase prices in 2019. BMW has announced it is going to hike prices across its entire model range in India by up to 4 per cent from January 1.

BMW locally assembles and sell its 3 Series, the 3 Series Gran Turismo, the 5 Series, the 6 Series Gran Turismo, the 7 Series, and the X1, the X3, the X5 SUVs. Meanwhile, it also imports the X6, the Z4, the M2 Competition, the M3 Sedan, the M4 Coupe, the M5 Sedan, the SUV X5 M, the X6 M and the BMW i8 which are available in the country as completely built-up units (CBU).

So far 2018 has been a decent one for BMW India in terms of sales. The carmaker had recently announced it recorded an 11 per cent (YoY) jump in sales during Jan-Sep, with sales of 7,915 cars (including Mini) in the period. With the new 3 series all set to come to India in 2019, the German carmaker would hope for an even better year in terms of sales in 2019.

Gurgaon. BMW India will increase prices by up to 4% across the product portfolio with effect from 1 January 2019.

The range of locally produced BMW cars in India include the BMW 3 Series, the BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo, the BMW 5 Series, the BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo, the BMW 7 Series, the BMW X1, the BMW X3, the BMW X5 and the MINI Countryman.

BMW dealerships also display the BMW X6, the BMW Z4, the BMW M2 Competition, the BMW M3 Sedan, the BMW M4 Coupe, the BMW M5 Sedan, the BMW X5 M, the BMW X6 M and the BMW i8 which are available in the country as completely built-up units (CBU).
