All The 4 Features That Will Make Their Presence Felt In Future Mahindra Cars

It’s no doubt that Mahindra is the one celebrating Independence day at full force. The Mahindra Global Pik Up concept and Thar.e are the show stoppers of this event. However, the SUV marque has showcased a handful of new features that will make their presence felt in its future cars. And no doubt, a handful of them are worth rivalling luxury cars. So let’s get cracking without further ado. 

AR Head-up Display

One of the standout features is the AR Head-up display, which will showcase turn-by-turn navigation similar to what we have seen in Mercedes cars. Apart from that, the head-up display will also show you vehicle alerts, speed and rpm as well as media and phone information. 

Active Ambient Lighting 

The future models will also get something known as active ambient lighting, which basically changes colours based on your drive modes or the songs you play. But Mahindra has gone one step further and has integrated it in the panoramic sunroof, allowing you to change patterns as well. 

Edge To Edge Full-width Display

Future Mahindra cars will also get a full width edge-to-edge display comprising three 12.3-inch screens: a digital driver’s display, a touchscreen infotainment system and a co-passenger infotainment screen. All these screens will be placed under a single piece of glass to give it that flush and premium look.

The infotainment system will also support 5G connected car tech and OTA updates to keep it up to date. 

Harman Kardon Sound System

Current Mahindra models such as the Scorpio N and XUV700 already get a nice-sounding Sony 3D surround sound system. However, with Mahindra’s upcoming BE range of EVs, they have gone step further. For these models, Mahindra will take the help of Harman Kardon with their 16-speaker surround sound system.

But the tech wizardry doesn’t stop there. It will also get active noise cancellation for that added layer of refinement. And this is the best part: Mahindra has roped in AR Rahman for the vehicle’s sound alerts, who has composed more than 75 tunes!
