If you have been waiting for the updated 2024 Force Gurkha 5-door, then there's good news for you, as it has finally started reaching dealerships across the country. The 2024 Force Gurkha was introduced with a 5-door model with added features, a more powerful engine, and an extra row of seats. Similarly, the 3-door model also receives all the feature-related niceties included in the 5-door model. 

The Gurkha retains its upright and boxy design which accentuates its rugged and purpose-built character. It now gets LED headlights and redesigned 18-inch alloy wheels which add to its appeal. Step inside and the interior layout resembles the outgoing 3-door model, but makes way for few tech additions in the cabin. It now gets an updated 9-inch infotainment screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and a digital instrument cluster.

In terms of safety, customers get dual front airbags, ABS, rear parking sensors, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.

Its powertrain comprises the similar Mercedes-sourced 2.6-litre turbo-diesel engine as before, which now has been tuned up to produce 140 PS and 320 Nm ( 49 PS and 70 Nm more than before). Another addition is the shift-on-the-fly capability for the four-wheel-drive system. There is, however, only a 5-speed manual gearbox on offer.
