Watch: How Many People Do We Manage To Fit In The Toyota Innova Hycross?

The Toyota Innova Hycross is the Japanese marque’s popular three-row MPV that’s available either as a 7-seater or an 8-seater. It’s available to buy in six broad trims and two engine options. Including a strong-hybrid powertrain. And in this report, we conducted an interesting experiment with the Hycross to see how many people can fit inside the MPV. 

The model used for this test is the lower-end GX naturally aspirated petrol variant. Our test car was an 8-seater with a bench seat for middle-row occupants. How many people did we manage to cram inside the MPV?

Toyota offers the Innova Hycross with a choice of either a 174PS 2-litre naturally aspirated petrol or a 186PS 2-litre strong-hybrid powertrain. Prices of the Innova Hycross range from Rs 18.82 lakh to Rs 30.26 lakh (ex-showroom). It’s an alternative to models such as the Toyota Innova Crysta, Kia Carens, Tata Safari and Mahindra XUV700.
