Next-gen 2024 Skoda Superb Revealed In Official Design Sketches Ahead Of Its November 2 Debut

Despite the rising demand for the SUV segment, Skoda is still soldering on with its flagship sedan, the Superb, into its next generation. The Czech marque has revealed the model via a couple of design sketches ahead of its global debut on November 2. Like before, it will be offered in both sedan and station wagon body styles. That said, in India, we can expect only the former. 

Design Of The New Skoda Superb

Visually, the new Superb is more of an evolution of the existing design and is based on the carmaker’s ‘Modern Solid’ theme. At the front, you get the familiar Butterfly grille with chrome lining flanked by a pair of LED Matrix headlamps and new insignia for the LED DRLs. The front bumper design has been tweaked as well and it now gets sharper cuts and creases.

Its silhouette is still very Superb and features softer and smoother flowing lines, while you also have new alloys to choose from. At the rear we can see updated LED tail lamps with a new insignia along with a reprofiled bumper. 

2024 Skoda Superb interiors 

Earlier this year, Skoda revealed the insides of the Superb, which features a minimalist dash design featuring a 13-inch floating touchscreen infotainment and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. Powertrain Details Of The 4th-gen Skoda Superb

With the new-generation Superb, you get the full buffet of ICE powertrain options. Turbo-petrol, diesel, mild- and strong-hybrid; name it and you have it. Expected India Launch

One can expect the new Superb to make its India debut sometime in 2024. And with an expected starting price of around Rs 35 lakh (ex-showroom), it will rival to the Toyota Camry, while being an alternative to models such as the BMW 2 Series and Mercedes-Benz A-Class Limousine.
