Skoda India is all set to take the wraps off the next-gen Superb sedan on November 2. The Czech marque has unveiled the fourth-generation Superb’s exterior images recently. It is expected to come to our shores in 2024. Here’s what to expect from the refreshed sedan ahead of its debut.

The new Superb embraces Skoda's 'Modern Solid' design theme and looks more evolutionary rather than ground-breaking. That’s evident in its 'Butterfly' grille adorned with chrome lining, flanked by LED Matrix headlights featuring new insignia for the LED DRLs that look similar to the outgoing model. Other changes include a revamped front bumper with sharper cuts and creases, enhancing its overall aesthetic.
The silhouette maintains the Superb's signature smooth lines, complemented by new alloy wheel options. The rear sports updated LED tail lamps with a fresh insignia and a reprofiled bumper, adding a touch of sophistication to the design.

Inside, the Superb boasts a minimalist dash design, highlighted by a 13-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. Skoda has thoughtfully included physical dials with built-in screens for climate control, infotainment functions, and seat ventilation and heating, ensuring a user-friendly experience.
The gear selector has now shifted to the steering column, freeing up more space in the central console for storing knick-knacks.

The Skoda Superb should feature all the essential amenities including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, ambient lighting, a premium sound system, electrically adjustable front seats with heating and ventilation, a panoramic sunroof, and wireless phone charging along with USB-C fast charging capabilities.
Safety is a top priority at Skoda and the Czech carmaker is offering multiple airbags, electronic stability control, and a comprehensive suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) features.

Under the hood, the fourth-generation Superb offers a comprehensive range of powertrain options, including turbo-petrol, diesel, mild-hybrid, and strong-hybrid variants, all paired exclusively with automatic transmissions. For more details about the new Superb’s powertrains, click this link.

Skoda will likely launch the Superb in India in 2024, as a rival to the likes of the Toyota Camry. At the same time, it will be a relatively more affordable alternative to models such as the BMW 2 Series and Mercedes-Benz A-Class Limousine. Expect pricing to start from around Rs 35 lakh (ex-showroom).
