Mahindra XUV700 & Scorpio Classic Get Costlier By Up To Rs 65,000 highlights

  • Scorpio Classic gets costlier by Rs 65,000. 

  • XUV700 petrol and diesel variants carry a price hike of up to 53,000. 

  • The starting price of the XUV700 remains the same; Rs 13.45 lakh for petrol and Rs 13.96 lakh for diesel. 

  • New (E) variants are available with ESP and hill hold and descent control. 

As the year has kicked in, Mahindra has made the Scorpio Classic and XUV700 costlier. With this, the Classic’s introductory prices are now over, while even the Scorpio N recently received a price jump. 

So, here are the revised variant-wise prices of both SUVs:

The Classic is available in S and S11 variants, which received a uniform hike of Rs 65,000. With the new prices, it inches closer to the entry-level Z2 and Z4 variants of the Scorpio N. The Scorpio Classic runs on a 132PS 2.2-litre diesel engine with a five-speed manual transmission.

  • Here, the (E) variants are only optional with the entry-level MX and AX3 trims. 

  • The starting price point of the diesel variants remains the same. 

  • The XUV700 gets 2-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines, paired with six-speed manual and automatic transmissions. The diesel can also be opted with an all-wheel drivetrain.
