Kia recently launched a Gravity edition for the Seltos compact SUV, starting from Rs 16.63 lakh (ex-showroom). The special edition is based on the HTX variant and gets additional convenience features and cosmetic changes over its donor variant. If you are interested in the Gravity edition, you can now check it out at your nearest dealership. Until then, here’s a look at the special edition in our image gallery:
As mentioned above, the special edition is based on the higher-spec HTX variant, and carries a premium of up to Rs 1.25 lakh over it. Here is the price difference over the variant it is based on:
Variant |
Seltos HTX Price |
Seltos Gravity Edition Price |
1.5-litre NA Petrol MT |
Rs 15.45 lakh |
Rs 16.63 lakh |
1.5-litre NA Petrol CVT |
Rs 16.87 lakh |
Rs 18.06 lakh |
1.5-litre Diesel MT |
Rs 16.96 lakh |
Rs 18.21 lakh |
Here’s what you get for the extra money:
Upfront, it features LED headlamps and LED DRLs which you get on the HTX variant as well. It comes with chrome inserts around the grille and a silver skid plate to a bit of ruggedness.
From the sides, it gets dualtone 17-inch dualtone alloy wheels instead of the 17-inch silver alloys available with the variant it is based on. The front doors get the Gravity badging which reminds you that you have opted for a special edition SUV. Instead of the chrome door handles, you get body coloured door handles with this edition.
The rear sports a gloss black spoiler which makes the special edition look sportier than the regular HTX variant. It gets the same connected LED taillights and also gets a skid plate to complete the overall look.

It is available in two shades: Aurora Black Pearl and Glacial White Pearl.
The interior of the Seltos Gravity edition gets a blue and black scheme and features blue coloured seats which are different from that on the HTX variant it is based on. The key additions to the interior are the 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, ventilated front seats, electronic parking brake (automatic variants), a premium Bose sound system, and a dash cam – which aren’t available in the HTX variant.
Other features onboard include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a dual-zone AC, and multi-colour ambient lighting, 6 airbags, front and rear parking sensors, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and electronic stability control (ESC).
The Seltos Gravity edition is available with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated (NA) petrol engine which makes 115 PS and 144 Nm and a 1.5-litre diesel engine which churns out 116 PS and 250 Nm. The petrol can be had with a 6-speed manual and a CVT gearbox, while the diesel can be paired with a 6-speed manual only. If you want the diesel automatic, you will have to opt for other variants of the Seltos.
The Seltos is also available with a more potent 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine which makes 160 PS and 253 Nm. But that powertrain is not available with the special edition.
The Kia Seltos Gravity Edition’s prices range from Rs 16.63 lakh to Rs 18.21 lakh. Prices of the standard Seltos range from Rs 10.90 lakh to Rs 20.37 lakh (ex-showroom). It competes with compact SUVs like the Honda Elevate, Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, VW Taigun and Skoda Kushaq.
