Kia Seltos 2026 Bookings Open Tomorrow; Here’s Everything You Want To Know About The Process

Kia India has officially commenced the market rollout of the all-new 2026 Seltos. The new Seltos arrives as an exhaustive update; it features a larger body and an overhauled interior with new technology, positioned to strengthen its lead in the compact SUV segment.

Kia Seltos 2026: Price, Booking And Delivery Timeline

Kia said that the reservations of the 2026 Seltos can be made online and across all dealerships starting tonight at midnight for a token deposit of Rs 25,000. The carmaker has also confirmed that the 2026 Seltos will be formally launched on January 2, 2026, when the complete variant-wise price list will be announced.

Post the announcement of the prices, Kia will start dispatching units of the new Seltos to dealerships in India. It claims customer deliveries will commence from mid-January 2026, meaning the SUV will reach customers' garages within a couple of weeks from the date of launch. Production has already started, and Kia seems ready for a high-volume dispatch.

What’s New In The Kia Seltos

Kia describes the new Seltos as "bigger, bolder, and progressive," and the updates corroborate that assertion. Length now has the SUV measuring 4,460 mm, making it the longest in the category, while its width and wheelbase are 1,830 mm and 2,690 mm, respectively.

These figures give the Seltos a more solid footprint and better cabin space. On the outside, the updated model ushers in the brand's latest Opposites United design philosophy, which introduces a reworked Digital Tiger Face grille, sharper LED lighting signatures, and Ice Cube LED projection headlamps with a dynamic welcome function on higher trims.

A New Cabin With A 30-Inch Panoramic Display

One of the most evident additions inside the SUV is the new 30-inch Trinity Panoramic Display Panel, which integrates a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 5-inch climate control touchscreen under a single curved glass panel. This wide-screen arrangement drastically alters the cabin's visual character and places the Seltos closer to Kia's international models.

ADAS Level 2 And Expanded Safety Tech

Kia has also continued to ensure that safety does not take a backseat. The new Seltos now boasts of Level 2 ADAS with 21 autonomous features - including forward-collision avoidance for cars, pedestrians, cyclists, and oncoming traffic; lane-keeping and lane-following assist; blind-spot monitoring with avoidance; rear cross-traffic warnings and avoidance; safe exit warning; and high-beam assist. On higher variants, it gets a 360-degree camera with a blind-view monitor.

Powertrain Options Remain Familiar

Despite the redesign, the Seltos carries forward its well-proven set of engines. The 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol unit puts out 115 PS and 144 Nm, while the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol churns out 160 PS and 253 Nm. 

Buyers looking for diesel have the tried and tested 1.5-litre unit, which produces 116 PS and 250 Nm.
