Kia Seltos 2026 Interior Upclose, Detailed In 12 Images

The new-generation Kia Seltos is now fully revealed, and the big story inside the cabin is how much more modern, premium, and architectural it feels compared to the outgoing model. Kia hasn't changed the fundamental layout dramatically, but almost every surface, screen, texture, and control interface has been rethought to make the SUV feel sharper and more upmarket. Here's a closer look at how the interior has evolved in 12 images:

A Wider, Cleaner Digital Layout

The most obvious change will again be visual: the new Trinity Display, sourced from Kia Syros- a single, curvature wraparound unit that houses a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch infotainment screen and a 5-inch climate control screen under one glass unit in its sweep. This design gives the dashboard a more premium presence while bringing it into line with that of Kia's global models.

The graphics are sharper, animations smoother, and the menus follow a cleaner, less-cluttered layout that makes commonly used functions easier to access.

Slimmer horizontal AC vents and a smoother lower dash help widen the visual spread of the cabin. The whole dashboard is more layered and mature compared to the outgoing model.

A More Premium Material Palette

The new Seltos utilises better soft-touch inserts across the dash, door trims, and console areas. Kia offers fresh colour themes and textured surfaces depending on the variant. Leatherette seats boast new quilting patterns with perforation for ventilation on higher trims.

Stitching that surrounds the console and door pads is even more refined, and the ambient lighting within the dashboard and doors is used more discreetly for a cleaner night-time look.

Updated Centre Console With New Controls

The centre console is redesigned for better usability. A touch-and-toggle arrangement on the climate control panel gives it a cleaner appearance while still being intuitive to operate.

Variants equipped with the automatic transmission also feature an updated gear selector, while a rotary drive selector features on higher specification models, adding to the premium feel.

It boasts of a new anti-slip texture for the inductive charging pad, deeper cupholders, and an accommodating storage tray ahead of the gear console.

Improved Seating and Cabin Space

Also revised for better comfort on long journeys is the seat cushioning, with more lateral support built into the bolstering. Rear passengers also get a backrest that reclines slightly more than before, boosting long-journey comfort.

The panoramic sunroof on higher trims boosts cabin airiness significantly, especially in the lighter dual-tone interior themes.

More Tech, Better Connectivity

The infotainment system now incorporates many more functions from Kia Connect, increasing voice control and remote functions. Upgraded graphics mean that the instrument display can more clearly show the status of ADAS, navigation information, and drive mode themes.

The audio tuning has also been improved, and the Bose 8-speaker system is available on higher variants.

Practicality Still A Strength

Storage spaces are still a Seltos highlight: the huge door pockets, a deep centre armrest box, and a practical tray beneath the dashboard make it a very family-friendly cabin. The rear seats continue with a 60:40 split, ensuring flexible cargo expansion.

Safety Features Integrated More Seamlessly

The revised ADAS interface now integrates more organically with the Trinity Display. Warnings, lane guidance, adaptive cruise visuals and collision alerts are more distinct and intuitive. 

Camera quality for the surround-view monitor is also better, providing more detailed and realistic overlays when parking.

It feels more modern, more premium, and better organised without having lost the practicality that made the original such a strong seller.
