Hyundai has revealed its latest SUV, the 2025 Hyundai Venue today, featuring major upgrades over the outgoing car. A very popular option in the sub-4 metre SUV space, the 2025 Venue aims to carry forward the legacy of the outgoing model, but in a new avatar featuring a long list of features, wide range of powertrains and a resh look and feel. While we await its launch on November 4, you can take a closer look at the new Venue explained in 11 pictures:
The new Venue gets a completely refreshed exterior design to make it look more modern and tough. At the front, you get a fascia that takes inspiration from the Alcazar and Exter with a rectangular grille with dark chrome inserts. The headlamp cluster is a squared unit with a quad-beam setup, while the connected LED light bar flows into the DRLs in the headlamp cluster for a unique C-shaped signature look. To enhance the ‘SUVness’ of the Venue, Hyundai has also given it a chunky silver skid plate at the bottom.

In profile, the 2025 Venue gets a distinct design with muscular front and rear fenders, taller roof rails and a set of new 16-inch alloy wheels. Furthermore, it also gets a silver insert on the C-pillar with ‘Venue’ badging inspired by the Creta.

At the rear, the theme is minimalistic with a slim connected LED taillamp cluster housed in a glossy black insert. There is also a larger spoiler to add sportiness to the look along with large reflectors and a thick faux skid plate on the bumper.

When it comes to colour options, buyers can now spec their Venue in new Hazel Blue and Mystic Sapphire colours in addition to Abyss Black, Atlas White, Titan Grey and Dragon Red. Notably, you can also have the Hazel Blue and Atlas White colours with a black roof for a dual-tone look.

The interior has also gone through a radical change with an all-new dashboard layout. First of all, it now gets finished in a dual-tone Dark Navy and Dove White colour scheme for an upmarket feel. The party piece here are the dual 12.3-inch screens for the infotainment system and digital instrument cluster along with a new steering-wheel design. Then there is a new control panel for the AC along with slim centre AC vents. For a dash of contrast, Hyundai has also added a Terrazzo-textured insert with ‘Venue’ inscribed on the passenger side of the dash.

For the rear passengers, the 2025 Venue gets rear AC vents, window sunshades and a 2-step reclining backrest for more comfort. Given that the Venue has grown 30mm wider and 48mm taller along with a 20mm longer wheelbase, we expect it to be a lot more spacious too.

When it comes to features, the new Venue is loaded to the brim. The 2025 Venue will be equipped with features like the aforementioned dual 12.3-inch screen setup for the infotainment system and digital instrument cluster, 4-way powered driver seat, a single-pane electric sunroof, ventilated front seats, Bose sound system, moon white ambient lighting, drive modes, wireless phone charger, auto headlamps and rain-sensing wipers.

Safety-wise, Hyundai has confirmed that it will get the Level 2 ADAS suite, 360 degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, an electronic parking brake with auto hold and electronic stability control. It will also feature 6 airbags, hill hold assist and traction control.

The new 2025 Venue will be available with three engine options consisting of a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, a 1-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Here are the specifications of all the powertrains:

When launched, the new Venue will compete with subcompact SUVs like the Kia Sonet, Maruti Fronx, Skoda Kylaq, Kia Syros and Mahindra XUV 3XO.

The Hyundai Venue has always been a popular option in the subcompact SUV space and it will be interesting to see if the new 2025 Venue will be able to match up to the success of the first-generation model.
