  • The 2021 Audi Q5 can be reserved for Rs 2 lakh.
  • It will be offered in two broad trims: Premium Plus and Technology.
  • Will be powered by a 249PS 2-litre turbo-petrol engine, driving all four wheels.
  • Notable features include a Bang and Olufsen 3D sound system, digital driver’s display, and 10.1-inch MMI infotainment system.

Audi India has commenced bookings for the facelifted Q5 ahead of its launch in November. Interested customers can pre-book their SUV either via the official website or at their nearest dealer for a token amount of Rs 2 lakh. The luxury SUV will be available in two trims: Premium Plus and Technology.

The facelifted Q5 will be a petrol-only offering. Its 249PS/370Nm 2-litre turbo-petrol engine drives all four wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. However, the absence of a diesel engine means those looking for a diesel option, will have to consider either the Mercedes-Benz GLC or the BMW X3

Coming to the design updates, the facelifted Q5 now looks sportier, courtesy the larger front grille and more aggressive detailing on the bumper. It also sits on larger 19-inch alloy wheels, giving it a planted stance. Also, the new LED headlights and tail lamps do a small jig when you lock and unlock the car.

Inside, the only major update is the new 10.1-inch MMI infotainment system that can be controlled only via touch inputs. Apart from that, the dashboard design and layout remains similar to the outgoing Q5.

Now to the features. On offer will be a digital driver’s display, tri-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, powered tailgate, a Bang and Olufsen 3D sound system, wireless phone charger, adaptive dampers, and park assist. Passenger safety is taken care of by eight airbags including rear-side units, ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors, and electronic stability control.
