Citroen plans to expand its network from 58 to 200 touchpoints by 2024-end.
The expansion strategy includes targeting areas beyond Tier I and Tier II cities.
All of this is aimed at increasing its sales numbers.
Citroen India has unveiled an ambitious plan to expand its network, targeting 200 sales and service touchpoints across India by the end of 2024. At the moment, the French marque’s presence is slim, with only 58 touchpoints. This move is aimed at bolstering the French automaker's presence in the Indian market by a growth of nearly 400 percent.
The expansion strategy goes beyond the traditional Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities, where Citroen wants to enter into Tier 3 and Tier 4 cities that are strategically selected for their proximity to larger urban centers.

All of this is aimed at one single thing for the French carmaker: improving its sales numbers in India. The French carmaker has been struggling in the market since its debut in 2021 due to limited reach, and secondly, the limited amount of features in their mass-market offerings.

Since its debut in 2021 with the C5 Aircross SUV, Citroen has expanded its lineup in India to include the C3 hatchback, C3 Aircross midsize SUV, and the all-electric eC3. The French marque recently introduced the automatic transmission with the C3 Aircross and coming up next is the C3X crossover, expected to launch later this year.
