Rolls-Royce has taken the wraps off its most powerful vehicle, and no, it’s not powered by a V12 but by a 102 kWh battery pack, behold the Spectre Black Badge. But that’s not the only thing that makes it special, as it also gets updates to both its exterior as well as interior. Without further ado, let’s dive in and learn more about the Spectre Black Badge.
Designed Like A Black Badge
With its bold appearance and Rolls-Royce's new Vapour Violet paint finish, the Spectre Black Badge instantly holds your gaze. While its design remains largely similar to the standard model, but being the Black Badge edition, it features a darkened illuminated grille, a blacked-out Spirit of Ecstasy, and all-black door handles and window surrounds, giving it an even more exclusive look.
The Spectre Black Badge rides on 23-inch alloy wheels, available in either a full-black finish or part-polished design. Rolls-Royce will also offer its clients 44,000 different paint shade options for the Spectre Black Badge, and if that's not enough, clients can create a bespoke hue, collaborating with Rolls-Royce Bespoke designers.

The Classy Rolls-Royce Interiors
Inside, the Spectre Black Badge greets with illuminated Black Badge treadplates (door sills), complementing its grille. As a true Rolls-Royce, the cabin exudes luxury, but as a Black Badge model, it receives distinctive treatment with plenty of blacked-out elements throughout. The dashboard also features an Infinity symbol alongside a pattern of 5,500 stars, which Rolls-Royce states vary in size and intensity.
The Spectre Black Badge’s digital driver’s display offers five customizable colour themes. Other features include a one-tap door open function, massaging seats with heating and ventilation, multi-zone climate control, and connected car technology.

The Starship Goes Warp
The Spectre Black Badge comes equipped with the same 102 kWh battery pack, producing 659 PS and 1075 Nm which is 75 PS and 175 Nm more than the standard Spectre.
Power is sent to all four wheels, allowing it to propel from 0 to 100 kmph in just 4.1 seconds. It is expected to deliver a claimed range of up to 520 km.

Is The Spectre Black Badge Coming To India?
While there is no official announcement, we expect Rolls-Royce to launch the Spectre Black Badge in India soon. It wouldn’t be surprising to see the likes of Ambanis and Adanis bringing out their chequebooks to place one (or maybe more) on the order book.
It will command a premium over the standard model, which is priced at Rs 7.5 crore (ex-showroom) before options. It serves as an electric alternative to the Bentley Flying Spur and Bentley Continental.
