The 11th season of the ABB FIA Formula E Championship has come to an end, and our homegrown team finished 4th in the Teams' Championship with 186 points in total. Mahindra Racing has been part of the all-electric racing series since its inception in 2014, and it makes our hearts swell seeing the only Indian racing team on the grid doing so well.
Mahindra Racing not only came fourth in the championship, but it also achieved five podiums in the last season. The latest came in the last round of the season, at the London E-Prix (Formula E speak for a Grand Prix), with Nyck De Vries securing the second position. Not only that, De Vries also secured the second position at the 15th round, which again was held in London just a day before the last round.

The other podium finishes by Mahindra Racing include a second position by Eduardo Mortara in the Jakarta E-Prix, another second position by De Vries at the first Monaco E-Prix and a third position by Mortara at the first Berlin Grand Prix. Five podium finishes in sixteen races is quite a commendable feat!
Now, Mahindra Racing (and other Formula E teams) are preparing for Season 12 of the championship, which is set to begin on December 6, and the first race will be in São Paolo, Brazil. We’re hoping Mahindra Racing adds a win (or more) to its already impressive Formula E tally along with multiple podium finishes. Surely Mahindra Racing will also be aiming at a better overall finish of third and above in the Constructors' Championship!

The 11th season marked the introduction of the Gen 3 cars in Formula E, and Mahindra Racing’s M11Electro truly stood out featuring an all-new powertrain developed by Mahindra Racing. Along with updated aerodynamics and a revised suspension, its 0-60mph (0-96kmph) acceleration of 1.82 seconds and a 200mph (321 kmph) top speed is super impressive. For the 12th Season, the M12Electro builds on its predecessor’s achievements and takes it a few notches higher, refining and further improving on the Gen3 Evo package. The M12Electro also features a redesigned livery with elements highlighting 12 stripes - celebrating the heritage and status of Mahindra Racing’s 12 years in Formula E.

Scream Electric is not just any other campaign, it's exactly what Mahindra Racing is doing, and in a huge way. From this Indian brand’s Formula E success to its ‘Race to Road’ program, there’s a whole lot more to come from Mahindra that will keep making India proud!
