The BYD Sealion 7 has been unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. With its stylish design drawn out from the brand's Ocean series, a feature-packed interior, and impressive performance, it offers a unique blend of luxury and practicality. Scheduled to launch by mid 2025, the Sealion 7 is expected to compete with popular premium EVs like the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6, making it an eagerly awaited addition to BYD's lineup. Here's a closer look at what this premium electric SUV has to offer:
The BYD Sealion 7 strikes a good balance between ruggedness and elegance. It is available in a mix of four exterior colour options: Cosmos Black, Atlantis Gray, Aurora White and Shark Gray.
Starting with its front, it features BYD's signature design elements, including a low-slung bonnet, sleek LED headlights integrated with LED DRLs, and an EV-specific blanked-off grille. The nose is enhanced by body lines, horizontal slats for the air vents, and a gloss silver skid plate below.
The side profile exudes sportiness, highlighted by a coupe-style roofline that slopes gracefully towards the rear and large 20-inch alloy wheels. Subtle body cladding with chrome inserts around the wheel arches adds to the elegant design, along with body-colored ORVMs and flush-type door handles.
