  • Q. Which variant of Hexa would be better to buy, automatic or manual?

It depends on your driving requirements. Manual transmissions offer much greater control over the vehicle's driving dynamics. There's really no substitute for the driving experience and level of control over the vehicle that a manual transmission can offer. Apart from it, if you are more like the average driver who simply wants to get from one place to another in the most efficient and comfortable way possible, and will be driving most of the time in stop-and-go traffic then go with the AT.

It depends on your requirement. If you'll be driving more in heavy city traffic then we suggest you to opt for Automatic Transmission(AT) which are easier to use and more comfortable for the driver, while Manual Transmission vehicles are less expensive more involved & are more fun to drive on highways.

Sir go for Automatic , you will have peace of mind from changing gear . there will be marginal difference in Fuel efficiency . Routine maintenance is almost same for both the models.

  • Q. How's Hexa? Is it worth buying?
    Zigwheels
    Zigwheels | 6 months ago

The Hexa looks mean and certainly makes an impression on the road. The Hexa comes with the 2.2-litre four-cylinder engine which makes 156PS and 400Nm of torque that’s available with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic. The automatic variant felt easier to drive especially because the shifts are smooth. Tata has done well to build on its strengths while making up for its shortcomings. The Hexa’s spacious cabin with three rows of seats, its ability to shrug off bad roads, commanding driving position and easy driving manners make for a great machine to cover long distances in. Quite simply, the Hexa is SUV enough, rich enough and fresh enough to deliver an overall experience that feels quite welcome for those looking for a rugged three-row SUV. Do take the test drive to experience the comfort and driving ease.Rush to your nearest dealership by checking the details from respective city from the following link: https://www.zigwheels.com/dealers/Tata/Delhi

Hi vijaya.. I bought this vehicle only 2 weeks back.. I'm thoroughly satisfied.. My colleague is using this for the past 1 and 1/5 years. He has driven it for 25,000kms.. He is also happy.. The vehicle is strongly built, excellent road presence, great interiors and gives a mileage of 12.5-13kmpl ( mins is XTA) version.. Go for it... Happy motoring...

I bought it 15 months back, driven nearly 16,000 kms, extremely happy with it. 7.5 kmpl in Bangalore city, 14-15 kmpl on highways with AC on and fully loaded with 7 passengers

  • Q. I have purchased HEXA XTA on 5th Nov 2018. Whats speeds/RPM I have to maintain during, driving in intial period for HEXA XTA?
    Dheeraj
    Dheeraj | 9 months ago

Upto 1800 RPM for first 2000km in any gear. However company says 1500-1800km is the initial running inperiod. You may touch 100 easily in 6th gear. Up to 110 km is OK in 6th gear. 5th and 6th gears in XTA are overdrive so you are able to achieve more speed in these gears at lower RPM. Avoid sudden acceleration during this period. Thanks

2000 Engine RPM will give you a 90 KMPH speed and you will get good average on fuel and very safe.

  • Q. What is the maintenance cost and what is the long term feel.. Like driving. Comfort and driving problems.. Like steering, drive over bumpy roads. Further how is the comfort on third row seats and mileage. - Hexa?
    Dheeraj
    Dheeraj | 9 months ago

It is good so far..no maintenance cost except yearly service or 20000km which ever is earlier @6500/- or so. Comfort is the best in class in same class of vehicles. You may watch https://youtu.be/k9q5773Dm4U if interested for more details. Buy automatic which offer better steering control as you can use both hands. Steering is bit heavy but very precise.
