The Mahindra has launched the XUV700 instead of the XUV500. There are multiple seven-seater SUVs in the market, including the Tata Safari and Hyundai Alcazar. The XUV700 looks set to take its competition head-on. So, if you’re looking for a big family SUV, rest assured that you’ll be spoilt for choices soon. It has a fresh set of features including ADAS and panoramic sunroof, new interior design with dual screens and wood inlays, etc. It gets Thar’s 2-litre turbo-petrol (200PS/380Nm) and 2.2-liter diesel (up to 185PS/up to 450Nm) engines. Both come mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. An optional all-wheel drivetrain is available as well. Moreover, there is no official update available from the brand's end on the launch of Mahindra XUV500 2021.
