Mercedes-Benz has launched the 2023 GLE facelift luxury SUV in India from Rs 96.4 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated premium SUV is offered in two broad trims and three broad variants with 5 colour options to choose from. It gets modest design changes on the outside and very minor interior updates and new tech additions.

Features of Mercedes-Benz GLE : The 2023 GLE facelift is equipped with 12.3-inch 2nd generation MBUX infotainment system with wireless Android Auto/Apple Carplay, a 12.3-inch fully digital driver’s display, 13-speaker burmester sound system, panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, electrically adjustable seats, four-zone automatic climate control, and wireless phone charging. On the safety front, it gets ABS with EBD, 9 airbags, electronic stability control, ISOFIX mounts for child seats, 360-degree camera, tyre pressure monitoring system and driver assistance features like active parking assist, active lane keep assist, and blind spot assist.

Mercedes-Benz GLE Engine : The 2023 GLE is offered in three engine choices which includes, a 269PS/550Nm 2-litre diesel engine, a 367PS/750Nm 3-litre diesel engine and a 381PS/500Nm 3-litre petrol engine. All the powertrains are paired to 9-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system. It measures 4924mm in length, 2010mm in width, 1797mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2995mm.

Mercedes-Benz GLE Rivals : The 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLE rivals the likes of the BMW X5, Audi Q7, and Volvo XC90.

Mercedes-Benz GLE Variants : Mercedes-Benz offers the GLE SUV in three broad variants: the GLE 300d, GLE 450d and GLE 450. The base model is offered with Professional Line and the other two are offered with the sportier AMG Line. It is offered in 5 colour options which includes Polar White, High tech Silver, Selenite Grey, Obsidian Black and Sodalite Blue.
