Mercedes-Benz AMG E 53 Cabriolet

Features: The Mercedes-AMG E53 Cabrio is equipped with premium features such as a 590-watt, 13-speaker Burmester sound system with noise cancellation, dual 12.3-inch screens for inftoainment and driver’s instrumentation, a heads-up display (HUD) and a sound-insulating soft top. The top can be retracted in 20 seconds at speeds of up to 50kmph. For safety, the E 53 Cabriolet gets seven airbags, a pop-up roll bar and driver-assistance features such as adaptive cruise control and attention assist.

Engine: The Mercedes-AMG E53 Cabrio is powered by a 3-litre inline-six cylinder petrol engine that makes 435PS and 520Nm on its own. It’s paired with a 9-speed automatic gearbox and a hybrid system that adds 22PS and 250Nm to the engine’s output. The combined performance is good enough for a 0-100kmph time of 4.5 seconds.

Rivals: The AMG E 53 Cabriolet is the only convertible in its segment, rivalling sports sedans such as the BMW M4, Porsche Panamera and the Audi S5 Sportback.

Variants: The AMG E-Class Cabriolet is available in a single E 53 4Matic+ variant in India.
