    The good news is, there is no waiting period. After you pay the money, you have to wait about a week for the dealership to get your license plate number and license plates from the RTO authorities. Once that comes in, you can ride the motorcycle home. It may take a little longer if the dealership does not have your preferred color in stock. Even so, it does not take very long, as it comes from their storage facility in Talegaon, and not all the way from Chennai. Hope this helps.

    I got my Classic 350 in 2016 in ash colour which was on order at that time. It was delivered 12 days after booking. Now waiting period is about 2-3 months depending on variant as well as location. This is because of covid-19 situation.

    I am not sure about the waiting period in Pune. But if shouldn't be more than 2 months. It is because now days the motorcycles are widely available. Still I would recommend to once check with your nearest showroom.
