• Q. I am looking for a bike for daily commute and occasional long drives. I was thinking of Himalayan until I heard that the mileage is about 27-30 only. Are there any alternate choices?

As per your requirements, the Royal Enfield Himalayan could prove to be a brilliant option. The bike offers brilliant ergonomics for riding and touring, comfortable seating, a good engine and loads of features. In addition, the new windscreen, revised tank braces, and new tan brown seat (only for Mirage Silver colour) also add to the aesthetics of the Himalayan. As for the mileage, it would depend on certain factors such as your riding style, riding conditions, timely maintenance, etc. For a better understanding of performance and riding comfort, we would suggest you to take a test ride. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.
