• Q. Hey I'm planning to buy a motorcycle which should I go for Thunderbird 350X Dominar400 or FZ 25. I like Thunderbird 350x in looks...but is there any issues with Thunderbird 350X because a lot of people say RE bikes have issues..and also I have seen many people say Bajaj service centre does not respond correctly.

Dominar has more power, better pick up and an amazing top speed as compared to FZ 25. but all of this comes because its a 400 cc displacement engine. So the very best milege you can get in the city is around 20-22 kmpl. Take 25-26 kmpl on highways. So i this bike is not meant for daily purpose or commute.Coming to FZ 25, its a perfect balanced bike needed for city. Fantastic pick up and a milege about 35-38 kmpl. But this bike lack on the top speed segment. Once you cross 90 you shall start feeling the vibrations. So this machine right is here is not meant for racing purpose. Royal enfield on the other hand is completely as compared to these bike. Pick up is good, looks charming with different color variants. But i personally wouldnt recommend this if your looking for daily commuting as this bike is heavy and becomes difficult to ride in heavy traffic. If you are a person who goes on long drives offen, then this the best option. Because the its very comfortable as well.Verdit:Daily Commute: FZ 25Weekly/ Monthly long drives: Dominar/ EnfieldTake a test ride of all the 3. See which one wins your heart and like the best.

Dominar 400 is not in the same price range so it has alot of advantages against the Fz25 which costs much lesser. If you're looking for a long smooth ride go for the Thunderbird, if you're looking for a speedy ride Dominar, and if you want an allround economic comfortable with good pickup for uphill rides and city rides then go for the Fz25

Bajaj service centre response depends from place to place. Overall nothing beats the dominar except the looks. You'll feel the lack of power in 350x on open roads, and the lack of abs as well. If you are not a speed favouring person then its all well and good. Issues wise I've not really had any such problems during my 9 month ownership.
