Q. Is it suitable for long rides - MT 15?
  • Yes ,this bike perfectly suits for long touring..and no it won't stressed out at all even if you ride 500km/day because 1. It is very Powerful, 2. very reliable and smooth Yamaha engine ,3. VVA which kicks in after 7400 rpm which will even boost the performance more ,4. it is liquid cooled 5. It is so much agile and light weight that you will feel you are playing with a toy bike....and also you won't get back pain because the seating posture is almost upright. ..people even do long tours on sports tourers like cbr250 and Apache rr310 which have kinda commited riding position and they never complain about back pain....for more reference watch MT15 touring review on Strell channel on YouTube : By Iman | 6 months ago

Q. Is seat height adjustable and if yes, how many mm it can be reduced - MT 15?
  • There are lowering kits on AliExpress (Link pieces) that do reduce height by almost 1 inch. You just replace current 'EId Moon' shaped metal pieces with these. Search for a video by Manipuri vlogger 'The North East Guy'. : By Jamil | 3 months ago
  • Yes there's. But will it affect the performance/handling of the bike? There seems to be no review anywhere. : By Maia | 1 month ago
  • The dealer told me it cannot be adjusted. Even after I saw the rear mono shock absorber there was no lever grooves on it. Can you please clarify it with a picture? : By Aashish | 4 months ago

Q. Whuch is good for daily use bullet Standard 350 or Yamaha MT-15?
  • Both bikes are in different categories so it entirely depends upon you. If you want a powerful bike with good looks then go for MT15 . If comfort is your most priority then go for RE bullet 350. If you live in a crowded place and there is bumper to bumper traffic then I wouldn't recommend MT15 as it starts to pump heat out on the right leg , during summer it might lead to discomfort but this is not the negative of the bike this only happens if you ride at 5 km/hr for 15 mins . Then there is the mileage , if well maintained MT15 can give a mileage about 50km but RE bullet can give 35 to 40 km.As I said at first it entirely depends upon you and if you have a pillion then go for RE bullet 350 but you should ride it first as it is a bit heavy and if you are not strong it could be difficult to move the bike when parked. : By Amal | 6 months ago
  • Both bikes belong to different segments...i use MT 15 for daily commutes and it’s super comfortable...gives around 40kmpl average but pillion seat is a little small : By Shubhankar | 6 months ago
  • The Mt-15 is a hyper bike & RE bullet 350 is a cruiser bike but little pricey to maintain & needs a change of brake shoes after every 2000 KM : By Shrey | 6 months ago

Q. How is the performance of this bike. Is it like R15 - MT 15?
  • We expect the Yamaha MT-15 to sport the R15 v3.0’s engine with the same tune. The faired motorcycle makes 19.3PS at 10,000rpm and 14.7Nm at 8500rpm from the 155cc VVA-equipped single-cylinder liquid-cooled motor. It is paired with a 6-speed transmission with assist and slipper clutch. Brakes on the test mule include discs on both ends and should feature dual-channel ABS as well, a la the R15 v3.0. For more information click the given link:- As expected, the India-bound bike comes with telescopic forks instead of the inverted ones were seen on the international-spec bike: - https://www.zigwheels.com/news-features/news/yamaha-mt15-spotted-testing-in-india/32770/ : By Zigwheels | 10 months ago
  • No it is slightly de tuned for city driving not that much thrill but has most part of it : By Nandaditya | 2 months ago
  • Although the engines are identical, the acceleration thru the gears is faster than R15 up to approx 90km/hr. Beyond that the R15 pulls away and shows higher top speed. : By John | 4 months ago
