Q. What is the difference between Lxi and Vxi in Dzire
  • LXI is the basic version of all Maruti Suzuki cars, where you get a power steering and front A/C. That is all. You will not even get a radio. You will only get a speedometer, no RPM meter.In VXI, you get a lot more. First of all, you have adjustable steering wheel, rear ac, rear handrest, 4 power windows, a button for the cabin, and a radio ( not touchscreen. you will get the touchscreen version in ZXI & ZXI+ ), automatic lock, and speedometer + RPM meter. The difference in the prices is like 1 Lakh, but it is worth. If you think of buying a Dzire, with models LXI/VXI, then take VXI.
  • In features. LXI is lower variant and VXi is higher one. So on VXI you get music system, power windows with auto down function, electrically operated ORVMs, driver seat height adjusment etc. VXI is costlier than the LXI though it makes more sense to buy the VXI rather than the LXI if you are not short on money. By the way, both are petrol variants.

Q. What is the difference between Dzire vxi & zxi
  • Difference in features between zxi and vxi are zxi has push button start,auto cooling ac,touch screen audio control and fog lamps,alloy wheels which is like 1 lakh more than vxi i hope you can go for vxi I think that's better
  • The only difference is with little more accessories in the zxi model for eg metallic rims etc rest।is almost the same thus its your choice if you want to spend more Thanks
  • Both XVI and ZXI are the petrol variants of Dzire but ZXI has more features than VXI like automatic climate control, push-button start-stop system, electrically foldable outside rear view Mirrors, alloy wheels, rear defogger, front fog lamps, and anti-pinch windows. Accordingly, ZXI costs higher than VXI.

Q. Which is better Dzire petrol or diesel?
  • So if you like to drive a lot and traffic, city drives doesn't bother you, then go for Manual gear transmission diesel. If you don't drive a lot and traffic driving gives you stress go for petrol and automatic transmission (AMT). Petrol and Diesel fuel prices are almost same but you pay more for diesel car variant. but if you take a test drive you will feel the difference of power and grunt, more torque and less gear shift in diesel engine as compared to a petrol engine. I have already done 1.25k KMs in 5.5 years with my Dzire and never had any problems, with regular servicing and tyre change that too was done at 66000 KMs, next tire change is expected in next 2-3 thousand KMs.One more catch is that diesel cars have a 10years life with in Delhi NCR but if you drive a lot on highways and long routes it is better to go for Diesel for sure.
  • Both are better at their own and the fact is our need our dally use of car can help us to choose which one car will be better for us if our daily run is about 100km or more than that then we should go for Disel car and this will feel lighter than petrol car in case of budget.while service of car disel car cost more than petrol car around 20% more than petrol car so choose wisely
  • From my experience with my dezire (DIESEL) i m satisfied with my car itz giving mileage of 30/km till date . I don't know about petrol variant but from my view petrol variant maintenance will be less .. and if you want to go for long drives then go for diesel variant it will be better choice. and if you only want to go in cities ride then go for petrol variant

    In fact truly describing about this vehicle is pleasure.This an mid sedan and brought top end fully loaded for my wife it's been around 3 years and since we purchased the car till date the performance, mileage Pickup is as such same and built quality color shocks been same to date too.Also with cruise ride the vehicle rides very smooth like an butter trust me it's an best affordable car for anyone in this segment and you will definitely love the ride.Overall it's an value and excellent car.Go for it.

    Good initially 

    The performance of amt was very good initially. However following issues are there in dzire 1) power steering did not work, Twice it was changed within warranty. Not fully satisfied.2) the great changing pattern changed suddenly, It doesn’t change at the correct append, Like how it was in the beginning3) the low battery indicator did not work, When the battery went dry. All electricals stopped suddenly while driving.
