Yamaha has reportedly revealed that they will be launching their 700-900cc bikes in India sometime soon, with one of the bikes being the YZF-R9. The engine will also be E20 fuel compatible.
The R9 is a sports bike from Yamaha. This bike gets an aggressive-looking full fairing inspired by Yamaha R1. Unlike the R1, the R9 gets a 890cc three-cylinder engine which makes 119PS and 93Nm.
It gets a 43mm USD fork and a rear monoshock which allows for preload adjustability. This supersport also gets twin 320mm front discs and a 220mm rear disc with Brembo calipers.
The bike is expected to be launched in India by November 2025 at around Rs 13 lakh (ex-showroom).
