EX90 Key Highlights
Features: The plethora of features onboard the electric SUV include a digital driver’s display, 14.5-inch portrait-style infotainment touchscreen with 5G compatibility and built-in Google OS, wireless phone charging, ambient lighting, smartphone key function, and a Bowers and Wilkins system with Dolby Atmos surround sound. Safety is paramount in a Volvo and in this one, its ensured by multiple air bags, and an extensive list of ADAS features. The EX90 packs hardware for fully-autonomous driving technology, which comes into use to safely stop the vehicle in case of an emergency.
Motor: The Volvo EX90 packs a 111kWh battery pack that feeds a dual-motor setup with an output of 408PS. Power is delivered to all four wheels and the SUV can drive up to 600km (WLTP) before running out of juice. A performance variant is expected to launch soon, which will boost the performance to 517PS and 910Nm.
Rivals: Volvo’s flagship electric SUV will take on the BMW iX, Audi Q8 e-tron, Mercedes EQS and Jaguar I-Pace.

The Volvo EX90 has been globally unveiled as Volvo’s flagship all-electric alternative to the XC90. Its sleek design and smooth surface has resulted in a drag coefficient value of 0.29. The styling is unmistakably Volvo with the Thor’s hammer-like headlights and the C-shaped taillights that are similar to the C40 Recharge. It gets a single dual-motor all-wheel drive variant for now, which produces 408PS. The SUV packs an advanced suite of ADAS technology, thanks to eight cameras, a radar system and LiDAR, which allows the car to scan for possible collision threats 250 meters ahead, even at night.
