Both the electric cars combined have an overall sales share of 28 percent in Volvo’s entire line-up. Furthermore, Volvo’s overall sales grew by 31 percent in 2023 as compared to 2022.

Features: Similar to the XC40 Recharge, the C40 Recharge comes with the 9-inch infotainment system that is jointly developed with Google. It supports wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Other convenient features include an air purifier system, powered tailgate, connected car tech with 5 years of data, a 13-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, fixed panoramic sunroof, and powered front seats with memory for the driver. Safety-related features include 8-airbags, electronic stability control, 360-degree camera, parking sensors and, most importantly, ADAS.
Motor: Featuring a single powertrain option, the C40 Recharge is equipped with a 78kWh battery pack that feeds dual electric motors generating 408PS/660NM to all four wheels. With fast charging capabilities onboard, the C40 Recharge gets charged from 10-80 percent in just 27 minutes using a 150kW DC fast charger. It has a WLTP-claimed range of 530km. The C40 Recharge is 4440mm long, 1910mm wide and 1591mm tall, which makes it 56mm shorter than the SUV (XC40) it is derived from. Ground clearance for the C40 Recharge is 171mm and the wheelbase is 2702mm, which is similar to its SUV cousin.
