Comfortable and good mileage

Renault Kiger is a compact SUV and its one litre turbo petrol engine is refined and get a large boot space. With RXL model i get manual transmission and it has a four star safety rating but does not get a sunroof. I feel the seats are very supportive and the space in the rear is good but the diesel engine is missing. The engine performs very nice and gives good mileage and the Caspian Blue colour is very nice in this compact SUV and the features i got with this car is practical.

Cost-effective SUV

The Kiger stands out with a stylish, bold design, especially in vibrant colors. It's surprisingly roomy inside, offering good comfort for both front and rear passengers. The turbo engine provides good pick-up for zipping through city traffic. Fuel efficiency is a concern and it gives mileage as low as 8.5 kmpl. It offers a good ride, decent performance, and comes with several features . the potential drawbacks like mileage and after-sales service before making a decision.

Average car with price

Driving the Renault Kiger in Chennai and Coimbatore, I found its compact size and agile handling perfect for city streets. With seating for five, it's ideal for small families. The SUV offers impressive mileage, averaging 20 km/litre on highways and 16 km/litre in the city. However, its interior feels basic, lacking some modern features. Safety features like airbags provide reassurance, but the absence of all-wheel drive may disappoint some buyers. Overall, the Kiger is a budget-friendly option with decent fuel efficiency and practicality for urban driving

Expected mileage

I live in coimbatore.Mine is kiger amt (non turbo) mostly driven in city environment conditions.(i bought the vehicle in sep 22 & vehicle has clocked 13000km till now.On an average i cover a distance of 21km per hour & approx 25km a day i drive), I get an average of 11.5 to 11.9 km per liter in amt and in manual mode 13 - 13.5 km per liter, While in highway in amt mode i get an average of 16 to 16.5km per liter. No one in the renault show room clear about how much the mileage the vehicle should give.In fact i lodged a complaint with renault customer service india.Twice i raised this complaint with the service agency, But they say the vehicle is giving the expected mileage but i am not happy about their response.I wish to know from the renault kiger community about the same and their experience.

Compact Dynamism

My joyfully purchased kiger turned out to be a missarabke. Over the last two years, I've made nine trips to the service centre. Problem with the power window; difficulties with doot locks challenges with the media system problems with mileage allowance Just so everyone knows, the design causes a wind noise to emanate from the kiger when you go above 85 kmph with the air conditioning on and all the windows closed. The list goes on and on. Because of air resistance, your mileage will decrease as you increase your speed. I discussed this with the Renault team, and they are planning to drive the vehicle at 80 kmph. Am I really going to use this to drive a loud automobile at 80 kmph?

A Compact SUV for the Indian Roads

Having driven the Renault Kiger for a few months now I am immensely satisfied with my purchase. Perfectly suited for the busy Indian streets like Delhi in those streets this compact SUV stands out with its bold design and robust build. One of its most commendable features is the mileage it is impressively fuel efficient for city drives and equally performs well on highways. The ground clearance of 205 mm makes it a reliable companion for uneven terrains and potholed roads which is really common in many Indian cities.Overall the Renault Kiger is a value for money package that combines style, performance and practicality for the Indian consumer.

I own a Kiger and I am happy

4.7

I own a kiger turbo cvt and i am happy with the features in this car.The riding position is good and there is a good view of both ends of the bonnet. The seats are comfortable and spacious. The entertainment system with wireless android auto is very good.Air-conditioning is effective. The boot space is very large and the back seats have good legroom.Turbo engine has good pickup and the car just takes off in sports mode.Cvt gearbox is very convenient for city driving.Mileage is a problem in city traffic but on highway it is okay.Comfortable city driving wins over the poor mileage and ride comfort.

Mileage is the worst in this

Mileage is the worst in this compact suv eventhough the sales team of renault dealer will assure you a mileage of 13 to 14 in city driving. You will be surprised that i an getting only 7 to 7.4 kmpl in city inspite of driving the vehicle in eco mode most of the time.My advise to future buyers is not to even think of buying kiger.
