Compact Brilliance

Honda Amaze not only has a high-end look but also a good result. Its small exterior presence isn't proportional to its spacious interior room that comfortably houses passengers and their cargo. It is powered by an intelligent engine which offers satisfactory fuel economy and a great experience on rough inner-city roads. Extensive safety mechanisms are in place, hence a positive perception on the roads. However, other competitors. Nevertheless, Amaze is a successful one in Honda's case and is a compact sedan, which brings a good mixture of style, performance, and affordability.

Discovering the Honda Amaze: A Compact Sedan

The Honda Amaze became my companion through daily commutes and occasional road trips not too long ago. This sub 4 meter sedan with engine options of a 1.2L petrol and a 1.5L diesel offered a mix of efficiency and reliability. The petrol version provides a fuel economy of about 19 km/l, while the diesel version goes up to 25 km/l, ideal for Indian roads and varying fuel prices. Its compact size made navigating through traffic and parking in tight spots really easy. The spacious cabin and boot space were surprising for its segment makes it an excellent choice for small families.

Smooth and Economical Sedan

Switching to Honda, the Honda Amaze sedan impresses with its stylish design, spacious interior, smooth engine performance, and large boot space, offering excellent value for its price point. While lacking rear A/C vents and a sunroof, it remains a reliable choice for small sedan buyers.

I am a proud Honda Amaze

4.0

I am a proud honda amaze for almost past 6 years.I own the s 1.2 manual petrol variant.I have driven the car for 60, 000 kms now and i am planning to keep the car for the 5-6 years more.1.Mileage: i get 15 kmpl in city and i have touched 22 kpml on highway but real figures can be considered close to 20 kmpl.2: build quality: the build quality is solid and you can't see any panel gaps or cost cuttings. One area i'd highlight is i own the golden brown metallic colour of the car, Which looked black initially but it has faded and gives a brown colour feel now.I'm ok with it but you can consider this as a factor.3.Service cost: i got the car serviced only at honda and go mechanic service centres.Honda charges 3500-4000 for a basic oil change, Oil filter change and air filter change service whereas go mechanic is around 3000-3500 for the same service.4.Major problems in 6 years: the roof of the car is an area of improvement, It is made up of thin metal and it flexes a lot! secondly 6 months back my car's fuel pump went bad and i got it replaced from a local workshop. This is the only major part change other than the tyres which i replaced at 45000 kms. Conclusion: you can consider this car as its a great option for a person looking for a family car or a small sedan. You can get better mileage in other cars but honda is known for its reliability.
