Latest Updates on Himalayan 750
Sep 5, 2026 : Royal Enfield showcased the Himalayan 750 at its Himalayan Basecamp in Leh, Ladakh, a day after launching the Himalayan 440. The bike shown was the road-biased version on alloy wheels.
The Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 has been spotted testing yet again, and this time, the images are by far the clearest ones. The road-biased variant was spotted, complete with alloy wheels at both ends, likely a 19-17-inch front/rear combo.
Key aspects that we can observe include an adjustable Showa fork, linked monoshock, Husvarna Norden 901-like bodywork that also somehow looks the part of a beefier Himalayan, upright riding stance, and plenty of ground clearance with a high-set side-slung 2-1 exhaust. The chassis is of course, all-new, with a fixed subframe that should be able to handle much better loads when it comes to luggage options.
The powerplant is likely to be a heavily modified, bored-out version of the 650 twin, likely producing around 55PS and 60Nm. The bike gets Bybre rotors with twin discs up front and a disc at the rear. We’re sure Royal Enfield will offer switchable ABS, hopefully with cornering functionality. Other electronic goodies expected include a ride-by-wire throttle with multiple riding modes, cruise control, and traction control.
We can also expect another trail-friendly variant with spoke wheels as we’d already seen test mules of the same before.
The Himalayan 750 will sit above the existing Himalayan 450, offering a more road-focused setup. Sure, there might be a spoke wheel variant, but it is unlikely to be as hardcore as the Himalayan 450, especially considering how heavy it will be. That said, it will be more of a powerful mile-munching big-bike that can also take on broken roads.
It is expected to cost around Rs 4.5 lakh (ex-showroom) and will go against the likes of Kawasaki Versys 650, BMW F 450 GS, and the upcoming Norton Atlas in India.
The new platform is also set to spawn other models, with a Continental GT 750 already spotted testing.

Himalayan 750 FAQs
Himalayan 750 Key Highlights
Price: The Himalayan 750, Royal Enfield’s first 750cc bike, has been unveiled at 2026 EICMA in Milan and is open for bookings in Europe. India’s debut is likely at Motoverse 2026 in Goa in November, and we expect a price of around Rs 4.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
Design: The Himalayan 750 follows simple, smooth lines, along with a round headlight, giving off distinctively retro vibes. There are also quite a few elements that nod to the OG Himalayan 411 such as the crease on the fuel tank. While the smaller Himalayan had spartan looking tank braces, the 750 swaps that out for smoother body panels for a more wholesome look. The two-to-one high-set exhaust echoes its go-anywhere capability, while the split seat looks functional enough for comfortable mile-munching. The colour palette has five options: Antarctic Silver (flagship), Viking Bronze and Siberia White (spoked wheels), and Aztec Green and Teutonic Black (cast wheels).
Features: The Himalayan 750 is well equipped on the tech front. The 4-inch circular TFT is connected and offers integrated navigation, with switch cubes and a joystick for control. It’s also got a six-axis IMU that enables cornering ABS, lean-sensitive traction control and other rider aids. Speaking of rider aids, there are five riding modes (Road, Road Sport, Rain, Trail and Custom) that adapt engine mapping, ABS and traction control, plus standard TPMS, an immobiliser, cruise control. The lighting is all-LED, and they look rather nice. The Antarctic Silver flagship gets a Touring Pack. This includes a top box, panniers with mounts and inner bags - all from Givi, designed specifically for the Himalayan 750. You also get heated grips, hand guards and an aluminium skid plate.
Engine: The Himalayan 750 is powered by a 743cc, air and oil-cooled, parallel-twin engine that makes 55PS at 7,000 rpm and 63 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. While the 650cc engine had enough grunt to sustain triple-digit highway speeds effortlessly, expect the highway experience to be even better with the added power. It should also be torquey enough for brisk city commutes, though its heart lies on covering long highway stretches.
Suspension, Brakes & Other Details: Showa handles the suspension, with a fully adjustable 43mm USD fork offering 190mm of travel up front and a Mono Tube IFP monoshock at the rear, which gets rebound damping, remote preload adjustment and 175mm of travel. The setup is tuned for rough roads and light trails, though the 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels mean this isn’t a hardcore off-road ADV. Braking is via a pair of 280mm rotors up front and a 255mm unit at the rear, with switchable ABS.
Rivals: The Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 will rival the Kawasaki Versys 650 and the Suzuki V-Strom 800DE. If you’re in the market for a premium adventure bike but want something smaller displacement-wise, then you may consider the Honda NX500, BMW F 450 GS, and the upcoming Norton Atlas.
