August 2025 brought plenty of excitement to the Indian car market, with a mix of updates and fresh introductions. Most carmakers chose to highlight style through facelifts and special editions. While performance enthusiasts also had something to look forward to. From refreshed looks to limited-run variants and a dash of power, here’s a complete roundup of all the cars that hit the roads in August 2025.
Price: From Rs 6.29 lakh (ex-showroom, introductory)
Renault refreshed the Kiger with a mid-life facelift, sporting a redesigned 10-slat grille with the new Renault logo. Other exterior updates include a revised bumper, and updated LED projector headlamps. Inside, the 2025 Kiger gets a new colour scheme, dual-tone theme, and a familiar dashboard layout. It continues to be offered with the 72 PS 1-litre NA petrol, and the 100 PS 1-litre turbo-petrol engine. Transmission options include 5-speed manual, AMT, or CVT transmissions. Prices range up to Rs 11.29 lakh (ex-showroom).

Citroen launched the C3X, the new top-spec variant in the C3 lineup, bringing premium features and a sportier stance. Exterior highlights include LED projector headlamps, LED DRLs, fog lamps, 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, and new colour options. The interior packs a 10.25-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto/ Apple CarPlay, a 7-inch digital driver’s display, automatic climate control, wireless phone charger, and Type-C charging ports.

The C3X is offered with the same 82PS/ 115 Nm 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that is paired with 5-speed manual transmission. It is also available with the 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine that puts out 110 PS and up to 205 Nm, mated to 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox.

Nissan joined the dark edition trend with the Magnite Kuro Edition. It is a black-themed version based on the N-Connecta variant of the Magnite, featuring cosmetic changes. It boasts blacked-out styling elements such as a gloss black grille, blacked-out skid plates, roof rails, and 16-inch alloy wheels, along with a ‘Kuro’ badge.

Inside, the cabin gets a black theme with piano-black accents on the steering wheel, gear lever, and door pads. The Magnite Kuro is offered with the 72 PS 1-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, and the 100 PS 1-litre turbo-petrol engine. Transmission options include 5-speed manual, 5-speed AMT, or CVT options.
Price: Rs 27.79 lakh (ex-showroom)
For Batman fans, Mahindra introduced the BE 6 Batman Edition which is limited only to 300 units. It features the Satin Black body colour, 20-inch alloy wheels, and gold brake calipers. It also gets Batman logos on the doors and fenders, for more exclusivity. Deliveries for the BE 6 Batman Edition begin from September 20, to mark the International Batman Day.

Inside, it retains dual 12.9-inch displays, ventilated seats, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon system, adaptive cruise control, and ADAS. Power comes from the 286 PS/ 380 Nm single electric motor setup that is paired with a 79 kWh battery pack, offering a range of up to 683 km.

Mercedes expanded its AMG lineup with the CLE 53 Coupe, blending luxury with performance. It gets AMG styling with the Panamericana grille, frameless doors, quad exhausts, and 20-inch alloys with red brake calipers. The cabin is finished in sporty black leather with red stitching, and also features the 17-speaker Burmester sound system.

Other amenities include, ventilated seats with memory function, panoramic sunroof, and ADAS. Powering the CLE 53 is a 3-litre inline-six cylinder petrol engine paired with mild-hybrid tech, making 450 PS and 560 Nm. It sprints from 0-100 kmph in just 4.2 seconds and has a top speed of 270 kmph.

Toyota finally introduced the Camry Sprint Edition in India, adding a sportier vibe to its premium sedan. The exterior gets blackout treatment with matte black hood, roof, alloys, spoiler, and body kit.

Inside, it adds ambient lighting and door warning lights, while continuing upmarket luxury features like triple-zone climate control, JBL speaker system, 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, wireless phone charging, and ADAS. There are no mechanical changes with the Camry Sprint Edition, as it is powered by the same 230 PS 2.5-litre strong-hybrid setup, mated to e-CVT gearbox.

To celebrate Nexa’s 10th anniversary, Maruti rolled out the Grand Vitara Phantom Blaq Edition, its first-ever SUV finished in matte black shade. Based on the Alpha Plus strong-hybrid trim, it features blacked-out alloys, and de-chromed styling.

The cabin boasts black-themed interiors, subtle champagne-gold accents, leatherette upholstery, and all the top-spec features including a 9-inch touchscreen, ventilated seats, panoramic sunroof, wireless charger, and ADAS safety tech. The Grand Vitara Blaq Edition is powered by the 1.5-litre three-cylinder strong-hybrid setup that puts out combined 116 PS and up to 141 Nm, paired to the CVT gearbox.
