The 2022 Range Rover will be launched in India in the first quarter of the 2022 financial year. The luxury SUV has now been listed on Land Rover’s Indian website, where details about its trims, variants, and powertrains have been spilled. If these deets are anything to go by, it looks like Land Rover is going the whole hog when it comes to offering its flagship here.

For starters, Land Rover will offer both the standard and long wheelbase options of the Range Rover in India. The latter can also be had as a seven-seater. Then there’s the fact that the luxury SUV will be offered in the SE, HSE, Autobiography, First Edition, and SV variants, which covers most of the spread anyway.

Then there’s the three engine options that will be on offer, all of which will drive all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission. The base options are the 3-litre petrol and diesel units, both teamed with a mild-hybrid system. For more oomph, there will also be the 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 from BMW, which is no slouch either.
