The marketing campaign for the new 2023 Tata Safari facelift is in full swing with the carmaker dropping teasers ahead of its imminent debut. The latest teaser gives us a glimpse of its new wheels along with the revised design touches. This is the first major design update for the SUV since its launch in February 2021.

In the latest teaser, Tata showcased the new Safari’s stylish new dual-tone alloys, which seem to have grown a size larger, giving it a beefier stance. Apart from that, the facelifted SUV will feature a revised front with full-width LED DRLs, new grille and LED headlights. It also features connected LED tail lamps and tweaked bumpers.
The interior of the facelifted Safari is yet to be revealed, but it should be similar to the new Harrier, which has been teased with plenty of upmarket features that should be available in the Safari. You can read more about it by tapping this link.

Underneath the hood, the existing 170PS 2-litre diesel engine, teamed with the 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions, should be carried forward. It’s likely Tata could also offer it with petrol power: a 1.5-litre T-GDI turbo-petrol engine, expected to be offered with a dual-clutch automatic and manual ‘box.

We suspect the new Safari to be launched in the coming days and if you’re interested, you can pre-book one. It could command a premium over the current model that starts from Rs XX.XX lakh (ex-showroom). The 2023 Tata Safari facelift will lock horns with the MG Hector Plus, Hyundai Alcazar, and Mahindra XUV700.
