Tata Motors has introduced the Safari Stealth Edition to commemorate 27 years of its iconic SUV. It is launched alongside the Harrier Stealth, and this special edition is based on the top-spec Accomplished Plus trim available with both manual and automatic transmissions for an additional Rs 75,000 over the standard price and will only be available as 2700 units.

Tata Safari Stealth Edition: Design

The Tata Safari Stealth Edition comes painted in an exclusive Matte Black colour, giving it a sportier appeal. While the overall design language remains familiar, subtle cosmetic tweaks set it apart.

Up front, it features a blacked-out grille, unlike the body-coloured unit seen on the standard model. The LED lighting elements, including the connected DRLs and vertically stacked headlights, remain unchanged, as does the silver skid plate.

The side profile is largely the same, except for the completely blacked-out alloy wheels. In photos, they may appear dual-tone due to the lighting, but in reality, they are fully black. 

The familiar Safari badging is present on the front doors on both sides. Additionally, this edition features a Stealth badge positioned slightly higher on the front fenders on either side.

At the rear, the design remains largely untouched, with the Matte Black finish continuing across the body and the same lighting elements as the standard model.

Tata Safari Stealth Edition: Interior And Features

Step inside, and the interior mirrors the sportiness of the exterior. It follows a similar Matte Black theme, called Carbon Noir, featuring grey upholstery and the same dashboard layout as the standard model. The Tata Safari Stealth Edition is available in both 6-seater and 7-seater configurations.

The dashboard is finished in Matte Black, complemented by generous gloss black accents. The contrast between the two shades enhances its bold and stealthy appeal. Additionally, a textured layer on the dashboard adds a touch of style.

For added comfort, the Safari Stealth now features a sliding front armrest on the centre console, enhancing convenience for the front passenger. The rear has the same centre armrest with cupholders.

As for other features, the Tata Safari Stealth edition comes equipped with all the features like a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, a 10-speaker JBL sound system, ventilated front and second-row seats along with 6-way power adjustment for driver side with memory function and 4-way for the co-driver side, wireless phone charger, dual-zone automatic climate control, keyless entry with push button start/stop, cruise control, connected car tech and a gesture-controlled powered tailgate. Besides, this edition also brings you an inbuilt map by India Navigation.

Safety in the Safari Stealth edition is taken care of by 7 airbags, ABS with EBD, a 360-degree camera, front parking sensors, electronic parking brake with auto hold and level-2 ADAS.
