Spending your days in a newsroom can be rather dull when it’s a slow news week. Thankfully, the week that went by was nothing like that. It was a constant barrage of exciting happenings and new launches, both in India as well as overseas. Here’s everything you may have missed over the last seven days:
Ducati Streetfighter V4 Launched

Ducati expanded its India lineup and how! The Italian manufacturer has launched the Streetfighter V4, which now becomes its most powerful and most expensive bike in the country. Complete with a monstrous 1,103cc V4 motor producing 208PS and 130Nm, here’s how much this baby costs.
Yamaha XSR 125 Launched Overseas

Elsewhere in the world, Yamaha launched a much smaller but equally exciting new motorcycle, in the form of the new XSR 125. Well, Yamaha says new, but we know that it’s actually the XSR 155 with a smaller 125cc motor bolted in. The upside is that this new bike meets A1 licensing laws in Europe and is therefore available to learners. Will it come to India sometime soon? Find out here.
KTM 490s Just Around The Corner!

It’s been a long and keen wait for the KTM 490s, and if a recent presentation by the company is to be believed, the 490 lineup will feature 5 models and be introduced in the 2022 model year, meaning that we could officially lay eyes on them towards the end of this year. To find out what the 5 bikes are going to be, head here.
Suzuki Burgman Electric Spotted Testing
At one end of the spectrum, Suzuki has been making waves with its latest-generation Hayabusa, and in complete contrast to that, it has also been spotted testing its upcoming electric scooter for India. Expected to be based on the Burgman Street, you can check out the so-called Burgman Electric right here.
Yamaha R7 Teaser

Just when you thought middleweight sportsbikes were all but dead, an ongoing resurgence of sorts seems to be happening. The success of the Aprilia RS 660 has perhaps encouraged Yamaha to start working on its own competitor, the upcoming R7. The bike has already been teased, and you can find out what we know right here.
