Mahindra had recently launched the KUV100 with comes in seven variants depending upon the requirement of the user. The KUV100 is the smallest offering by Mahindra in the compact SUV segment. Since its introduction, the waiting period for the urban car has slowly risen as more and more people are booking the KUV100. Out of the seven variants that are being offered for the KUV100, the K6 and the top-end K8 variants have been reportedly receiving more demand. Surprisingly, the 6-seater variants of the K2 and K2+ are not garnering the numbers that were initially expected by the manufacturer.

Mahindra had started bookings of the KUV100 in December 19, 2015 and has also tied up with Flipkart for the online sale followed by the reservation of the car. Currently, Flipkart has mentioned a waiting period of one month on their website irrespective of which variant buyers have selected. The manufacturer also has its own online portal platform, M2ALL, where the KUV100 along with other Mahindra products are showcased.

As per reports, in the beginning the waiting period for the KUV100 was around 2 weeks, which now has climbed to six weeks in certain cities. It has also been noticed that in some cities buyers opting for white and silver coloured KUV100s are facing a waiting period as long as eight weeks. The demand has been observed for the both 1.2-litre petrol and 1.2-litre diesel engine variants. On the price factor, the petrol variant starts at Rs 4.42 lakh and rises to Rs 5.91 lakh for the top-end model while the diesel model starts at Rs 5.22 lakh and goes up to Rs 6.76 lakh for the fully loaded variant (all prices ex-showroom, Pune).

The Mahindra KUV100 is available in seven colours to choose which include: Pearl White, Aquamarine, Dazzling Silver, Flamboyant Red, Fiery Orange, Designer Grey, and Midnight Black.
