General Motors India has refreshed its Sail car range with cosmetic upgrades and added features. The Chevrolet Sail hatchback is priced between Rs 4.41 and Rs 6.81 lakh, while the Sail sedan is priced between Rs 5.19 and Rs 7.64 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
The new Chevrolet Sail hatchback and sedan comes with new alloy wheels, additional chrome highlights on the body and around the fog lamps, and a trendy black B-pillar.

The interiors are also upgraded and now feature a dual-tone black and beige dashboard, Chevrolet Corvette-inspired dual cockpit design, chrome garnish on the aircon vents and around the gear stick, along with silver surrounds for door handle. Besides these, GM India also claims to have improved the overall plastic quality of the Sail sedan and hatchback. You also get a new 2–DIN music system with Bluetooth functionality, which supports up to five phone pairings and music streaming.

As expected there are no mechanical changes and the Chevrolet Sail hatchback and sedan will continue to be powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine capable of producing 83.6PS of peak power, while the 190Nm diesel 1.3-litre TCDi is also on offer. Both the cars come mated with 5-speed manual transmissions as standard.
The Sail is available in six exterior colours: Velvet Red (Sedan only), Super Red (Hatchback only), Switchblade Silver, Summit White, Caviar Black, Linen Beige and Sandrift Grey.
