After showing it off at the Auto Expo 2018, Suzuki has now launched its first maxi-style scooter, the Burgman Street, at Rs 68,000. While it may not be an out and about maxi-scooter like its bigger sibling, the Burgman 650, it certainly manages to give the impression of one, with its imposing design and bulky bodywork. Powering the scooter is the same 124cc single-cylinder engine, which is found in the Access 125. This motor makes 8.7PS of power and 10.2Nm of torque.

Along with the launch of the Burgman Street, officials at Suzuki confirmed the arrival of the V-Strom 650XT. This comes as exciting news for adventure touring enthusiasts. The news comes at the right time, when ADVs are enjoying ever-increasing popularity in our market. Our sources confirm that Suzuki will bring the V-Strom to India via the CKD route, just like the Suzuki GSX-S750 and the Suzuki Hayabusa. That being said, we don't expect it has an easy sail in the country, thanks to the presence of the Kawasaki Versys 650.
